Project team: Camelia Popa, Cimpean Bianca Status: In progress Situated in Cluj-Napoca's historic district, we embarked on a project that masterfully melds the past with the present. This transformation showcases the journey of rejuvenating an aging building into a dental clinic that preserves history while embracing modernity.The building's original brick walls and curved ceilings, reminiscent of the interwar period, were preserved, serving as the foundation for the clinic's unique character and ambiance.To honor the past yet embrace the future, we integrated modern materials like microconcrete, plaster, metal, and corten steel, achieving a timeless blend of nostalgia and contemporary appeal.Inside, a welcoming reception area leads to two captivating hallways adorned with mirrors, plants, and soft lighting. Circular ceiling windows bathe the space in natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere.Beyond aesthetics, functionality shines with thoughtfully designed office spaces, cabinets, and stylish bathrooms, ensuring both comfort and efficiency.Our transformation of this dental clinic exemplifies the art of preserving history while embracing the conveniences of modernity.
